About Fishing Pharmacist Guide Service

I have been a pharmacist for over 30 years but my life long passion is fishing. Combining the customer service skills of pharmacy with my fishing skills makes an outing with me unique. I strive to make it a complete experience where you are treated like royalty on the water. I started fly fishing over 20 years ago and after snapping a few flies off my first 2 backcasts in Yellowstone, I slowly got the hang of it. I became "hooked" when I had an epic battle with a lake trout during the fall salmon run on the Milwaukee River a few years later. Fast forward to today and I am an  active board member and past president of the S.E. Wisconsin chapter of Trout Unlimited, teaching others how to tie flies and cast and giving presentations on salmon and steelhead fishing. Guiding became a natural next step to further spread the joy of fishing to others.  As much as I still love catching fish myself, there is nothing more rewarding than watching someone catch their first steelhead on a fly - it is a magical experience that will last a lifetime - for both of us. 

My trips are unique and tailored specifically for you taking into account your skill level, when you want to go and what species are available at that time of year.  If you are just starting out with fly fishing we can have some fly casting lessons before you get on the water so that you can focus on the fishing - and hopefully the catching! (some cooperation from the fish is necessary for the catching part)
